One Block Wonder
This is hard!! I'm having tough time trying to figure out the block placement. I know there's no right or wrong, but there's a better or worse. I m trying to get a feel for it, but it's NOT easy (at least for me.) It's taken me all morning just to get this far. Thank goodness I have another week before the next class. I'll probably spend most of it "tweaking" the block placement.

My mom loves to make these quilts so I figured I'd pass on her placements in case you haven't tried them yet. Sometimes she puts all the dark blocks in the center, rectangle/square shape, and then gradually works to lighter blocks on the outside. One time she did dark blocks in one corner and then gradually had it shift to medium blocks in the middle diagonal to the lightest blocks in the corner opposite of the dark blocks. Hopefully that made sense. Your blocks look absolutely wonderful and I'm sure you'll find the perfect layout!
whatever you decide, it will be beautiful...gorgeous colours.
